GOT'S SOPHIE TURNER TAKES ON ANT-MAN'S EVANGELINE LILLY FOR HER CONTROVERSIAL CORONAVIRUS REMARKS, SAYING, 'F*CK YOUR FREEDOM'

Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner hasn't taken too kindly to Ant-man star Evangeline Lilly's controversial comments about self-isolation during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Pregnant Turner, one of the most vulnerable categories of people in the current Coronavirus pandemic scenario, made her stand clear in an Instagram Live she hosted with husband Joe Jonas. Interestingly, Sophie never referred to Lilly by name in her entire tirade, but her words clearly pointed to whom they are aimed at.

Evangeline Lilly had posted several comments on Instagram last week, where she likened social distancing and self-quarantining to Martial law. She wrote, "Some people value their lives over freedom, some people value freedom over their lives. We all make our choices ... where we are right now feels a lot too close to Marshall Law (sic) for my comfort already, all in the name of a respiratory flu."

In another post, Lilly said it was 'business as usual' at her place adding that she had just dropped her kids off at the gym.

Her flippant comments made Sophie Turner see red, and she grabbed the first opportunity that came her way, to put Lilly in her place.

Turner said on her Instagram Live segment, without mentioning Lilly by name, mind you, "Stay inside. Don’t be f---ing stupid. Even if you count your freedom over your health, I don’t give a f--- about your freedom. You could be infecting other people, other vulnerable people around you by doing this. So stay inside guys! It’s not cool, it’s not big, and it’s not clever… And that’s the tea."

Fans and observers quickly latched on to this line of Turner's — "And that’s the tea", put two and two together and deduced that Turner's comments were aimed at Lilly. Coz Lilly's Instagram post that contained her controversial comments featured nothing else but the pic of a cup of tea.

Evangeline Lilly hasn't responded to Sophie Turner's criticism yet.
