Synopsis:

A professor Vijay (Rajnikanth) irked by the shady going-ons in his neighborhood thanks to local thugs Anburaj and Mohanraj (Satyaraj), galvanizes citizens into carrying out a campaign against the duo's underworld businesses. This prompts Mohanraj to vicious revenge, which Vijay responds to by turning vigilante. A cameo by Bhagyaraj as the police inspector Singaram sent to bring in "Robin Hood" the vigilante.
